Debary, FL — Mildred (Millie) J. (Clow; Cushing) Mendell, 71, of DeBary, FL and formerly of Haverhill, MA and Newton, NH, died at her home in Florida on Monday, October 7, 2013, after a strong battle with cancer. Born in Haverhill, she was a daughter of the late Gladys (Sargent) and Adelbert Clow.
Millie graduated from Haverhill High School in 1961. She worked at Western Electric, Market Basket, and Walmart. She was also a dedicated Home Health Aide. Passionate to her Faith and the Lord, she was an active member in her church and community. An avid New England Sports fan she also loved sewing, quilting, reading, gospel music and most of all spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wilson (Bill) Mendell and daughter, Charna Lee. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Faith & Michael Collins of Ormond Beach, FL, Sandy & Ed Cross of Deerfield, NH, Pam & Terry Borgal of Newton, NH; brothers, Charlie Clow, Sonny Clow, both of Haverhill, MA and sisters, Nita Wortman, Brenda & Robert Durham of Haverhill and Louise & Michael Higgins of Atkinson, NH; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral Service will be held Sunday, October 20th, 2013, at 2 pm at the Deerfield Bible Church, 9 Church St., Deerfield, NH followed by burial at the Old Center Cemetery, Meeting House Rd., Deerfield, NH.
