Bradford — Pauline F. (Whiting) Jean Palmer, 93, of Bradford passed away on Sunday, August 25, at Kindred Nursing and Rehab in Newburyport.
She was born in Brockton, Mass., on July 6, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Leon H. and Olive M. (Cassavant) Whiting. Pauline was educated in Haverhill, graduating from Haverhill High School, Class of 1938. She was employed for over 20 years at the former Western Electric, retiring in 1982. Pauline was a member of the Universalist Unitarian Church in Haverhill, and had attended the First Church of Christ in Bradford. She was also a member of the O.E.S. Fidelity Chapter #90.
She was the wife of the late Frederick Jean, who died in 1961, Russell Palmer who died in 1992, and was mother of the late Alan Jean, who died in 2004. Pauline is survived by her daughters, Marcia J. and her husband, Richard Kneeland of Hampstead, N.H., and Sandra J. and her husband, James Gaudette of Salisbury; daughter-in-law, Sandra J. Jean of Bradford; five grandchildren, Barbara Kneeland, Pamela Dauphinais, Sharon Meschutt, Frederick Gaudette, and Mark Gaudette; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, August 29, at 1 p.m., at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main Street, Bradford. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Calling hours at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home will be on Wednesday (TODAY), from 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the donor’s choice.
