Haverhill — Clarence H. Gravlin, 73, formerly of Haverhill, died on Monday morning, September 9, at the Kathleen Daniels Nursing Home, Framingham.
He was born in Lyndonville, Vt., on December 2, 1939, and was the son of the late Edmond C. and Mildred A. (Little) Gravlin. He was educated in Lyndonville.
He was employed as a handyman for various local companies.
Mr. Gravlin enjoyed playing guitar, writing and singing his own music, ice fishing, and motorcycle riding.
His survivors include four sons, Roger W. Gravlin and his wife, Heather, of Derry, N.H., Wayne C. Gravlin of Upton, Eric P. Gravlin and his wife, Elena Choy of Needham, Jeremy L. Gravlin and his wife, Tracy A., of Derry; two brothers, Edmond Gravlin and Herbert Gravlin, both of Reading; a sister, Harriett Bean of Framingham; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday morning, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m., at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Calling hours at the funeral home will be TODAY, Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m.
