Andover — Joseph C. Lasonde,” Papa Fish”, 73, of Andover, passed away unexpectedly, on Monday November 12 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Armand and Eva (Michaud) Lasonde.
Joseph was born and raised in Andover. He was the proprietor of Langford Seafood’s in Lawrence. He would be found fishing at Forest Lake in Methuen, at his camp on Lake Winnisquam, or as many of his friends know, tinkering with the never ending line of lawnmowers he fixed as a hobby.
Joseph is survived by his loving daughter, Linda Hamlin and her husband Warren of Pelham, N.H. and Lisa Casey and her husband Kevin of Lawrence. His grandchildren include Cynthia and Joseph Carberry of Lawrence, Charles and Kelley Saindon of Dracut, Melissa Saindon of Andover, Ryan Boucher and his wife Jessica of Haverhill Jennifer and Kerry Casey of Lawrence, and Kara Joseph and her husband Rob of Methuen; nine great-grandchildren, Joey, Charlie, Emily, Teddy, Cassidy, David, Ryan, Ariana and Noah.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Laurie Ann Castle.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be on Sunday, November 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Arthur J. Scott Funeral Home, 298 South Broadway, Lawrence. A funeral mass will be on Monday, November 19 at 11 a.m. in St Patrick’s Church, Lawrence. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover.
