Salem, N.H. — Susan M. LaRochelle-O'Sullivan, of Salem, N.H., 65 years old, died tragically on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, from an unforseen blockage to the heart.
She was born in North Andover, on July 27, 1947, the daughter of the late William LaRochelle and Virginia Bean, and was the sister of the late, Donald LaRochelle and the late, Diane LaRochelle and is survived by her siblings, Stephen LaRochelle and Lisa LaRochelle. Susan was educated in North Andover schools and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School. Susan was self-employed in business most of her life, until her retirement.
Susan was devoted to spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved animals, spending time at the beach, and enjoyed theater and music.
Susan was the wife to the late James J. McCarty and the late James O'Sullivan. A devoted mother to four children, she was predeceased by one daughter, Linda McCarty in 1976. She is survived by Kimberly Colombo in Andover, Sean McCarty in Salem, N.H., and William O'Sullivan in North Andover. She was the loving grandmother to five grandchildren, James McCarty (20), Carly Colombo (17), Christain Colombo (15), Patrick McCarty (15), and Kyle McCarty (11). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral mass to be held Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Monica's Church, Lawrence Street, Methuen. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Methuen. There are no calling hours.
