Plaistow, N.H. — Mary C. (Lynch) Ruddy, 88, of Plaistow, N.H., passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, at the Exeter Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Concord, N.H., she was the daughter of the late, William J. and Agnes (Sweeney) Lynch. Educated in Concord, she was a graduate of Concord High School, class of 1943.

Starting their family as Mr. Ruddy attended Chiropractic College in Iowa, they would live there for the next six years. A brief stay in Mississippi, and then back to their roots of New England where the young family settled in Plaistow to become a permanent part of the community.
Dr. Ruddy worked at the Parkman Clinic in Plaistow and Mrs. Ruddy then furthered her education at the University of New Hampshire while raising their children. For the next forty-one years, Mrs. Ruddy not only became a valuable part of her adopted community, she was a guiding light to most of the children in it, as she found employment as a teacher at the Sweet Hill Kindergarten. Mrs. Ruddy thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the time she spent with all of the children. A woman of varied interests, she was an avid reader, golfer, and archer, her memberships included the Pow Wow Bowman’s Club, the Catholic Daughters, Court Holy Angels, and was a Cub Scout Leader of Pack 4.
