Atkinson, NH — Phyllis E. (Ray) Brown, age 66, of Atkinson, New Hampshire, passed away December 29 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.
Born in Milford, September 29, 1946, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Althea (Burrill) Ray and had attended Haverhill High School. Phyllis had worked at Lucent Technologies in North Andover for 27 years.
An avid golfer, she also enjoyed bowling, crocheting baby blankets for her many friends, traveling with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved so much.
Phyllis is survived by her son, George Brown and wife Jessica and their children Alexander, Connor, Sophia and Colby, all of Shirley, daughter, Susan Casey and her children Dylan and Jacob, all of Rochester, NH; brother, John B. Ray and wife Sharon of Rochester, NH; two sisters, Beverly Leveille of Haverhill and Marie Larose and husband Remi of Derby, VT; dear friend Judy Gagnon of Atkinson, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Ray of Haverhill.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours at the Paul C. Rogers Family-Scatamacchia Funeral Home, 334 Main Street, Haverhill, will be Wednesday, January 2, 2012 from 4 to 7 P.M. Services and interment will be private for the family.
