Lawrence — James E. Baril 56 of Lawrence died suddenly on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, his 56th birthday. James was born in Methuen on January 8, 1957 to the late James W. and Catherine E. (O'Brien) Baril.
He attended local schools and was employed as a check-out clerk at Market Basket Supermarkets. James was an avid Boston sports fan. He enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and Bruins with his friends Gino and Richard. He loved the Three Stooges .
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ellen Trask and her husband, Donald of Haverhill, Elizabeth Reddish and her husband, Robert of Methuen; his brother, Joseph Baril of Lawrence; and his stepmother, Barbara Baril of Florida. Also among his survivors are his nieces and nephews, Jason Trask of Haverhill, Robert J. Reddish, of Haverhill, Sharyn Burke and her husband, Erik of Methuen, and Lindsay Makin and her husband, Dan of Fremont N.H. He is also survived by his great-nephews Kaleb and Shane. James was predeceased by his niece Petty Officer Caitlin Trask.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be offered on Monday January 14, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery also in North Andover. Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
