Peggy Lough, 82


The Villages, FLA. — Peggy Louise Huey Lough, age 82, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in The Villages, Florida. A seven year resident of The Villages, she was born in Mannnington, W.Va., on June 23, 1930. She graduated from Mannington High School in 1948 and West Virginia University in 1952 with a BS Degree. She worked as a laboratory technician at Veterans Hospital in Clarksburg, W.Va. until her marriage in 1954 to Wendell J.Lough at which time she became a homemaker. The family lived in many different states of the Union, particularly Michigan and New Hampshire, as Wendell pursued his engineering profession. Peggy enjoyed many hobbies including bocce ball, golf, cooking, collecting recipes, and traveling. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Lona and Claude B. Huey. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Wendell; their sons, Michael (Joan), Alan(Leah), Brian(Kirstin); and daughter, Carol Sue Green (Josh); grandchildren, Jennifer, Philip, Benjamin, Briar; and sister, Sally Hess.

ARRANGEMENTS: A remembrance of her life will take place at 3 p.m. on January 27, 2013, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services – The Villages. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the remembrance. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the cancer charity of your choice.
