Haverhill — Haverhill – Henry J. Lanseigne, 81, of Haverhill, died Friday, January 25, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston after a brief illness.
Born in Newburyport, he was the son of the late, Robert and Eva (Larochelle) Lanseigne. Growing up in Amesbury, he attended Sacred Heart School. Mr. Lanseigne was employed as a carpenter in the pallet manufacturing division of Haverhill Paperboard Co. in Bradford for thirty-seven years, retiring in 1995. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, A.K.A. “great Beeper” he relished time spent with his family. He met and married his soul mate, Carole (DeFelice), they married in 1955, and settled in Haverhill. He also enjoyed walking the beach, fishing, and watching his favorite sports teams, the Bruins, Patriots and Boston College. He leaves his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Carole (DeFelice) Lanseigne, of Haverhill, a son and daughter in law, Michael D. and Robin (Simonds) of Fremont, NH, three daughters, Cheryl A. and her husband, Ritchie Bates, of Hillsborough, NH, Susan M. Murphy, of Londonderry, NH, and Pamela M. and her husband, Marc Morin, of Nashua, NH, eight grandchildren, Justine Perrotta, Keith Allard, Michael Murphy, Elizabeth Murphy, Lauren Lanseigne, Kellie Morin, Jacob Morin, and Joshua Morin, five great grandchildren, Bryanna, Matthew, Uriah, Jayden, and Adriana, a sister Doris Cypher, of Portsmouth, NH, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Armand, Maurice, and Roland, and sisters, Rosilda Lamothe, Rita Towle, and Cecile Hamel.
