Plaistow, NH — Robert A. “Bob” Cunningham, 50, a resident of Plaistow for over twenty years, died on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House, surrounded by his loving and supportive family.
Born and raised in Haverhill, MA, son of the late Gheen and Marylou (Paone) Cunningham, he was educated in the local school system and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1980.
Bob owned and operated Concord Printing in Haverhill from 1991 until 2005 and was also a successful real estate developer. In 2005 he became the Northeast manufacturer of ICOAT products as the co-owner of Superior Surfaces of New England, Plaistow, and operated the business until 2012.
A recipient of numerous achievement awards through his company, Bob was a licensed pilot and also enjoyed traveling, dining out, and the time he spent with his family.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Simone) Cunningham, a daughter, Sarah M. Cunningham and her companion Matt Cronin of Plaistow, two sons, Matthew J. Cunningham and Michael J. Nardone of Plaistow, a sister and brother-in-law, Joy and David Piecuch of Haverhill, two nieces, Monica Piecuch and Laura Piecuch, of Haverhill and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his son Robert T. Cunningham in 2001.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call on Monday, February 11, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow Village. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in Saint Anne’s Church, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH. Burial will take place in the spring at Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow.
