West Palm Beach, FL — Amelia (Adamo) DeSantis, 88, longtime resident of West Palm Beach, Fla., died peacefully on Friday, November 15, in West Palm Beach. She was the loving daughter of the late Anntonetta & Ferdinando Adamo. Amelia was born on May 12, 1925, in Lawrence, Mass., and attended Lawrence schools. Amelia worked as a home health care assistant, and she enjoyed caring for her many patients over the years with great compassion. Amelia loved to dance and to cook, and was active at the Young At Heart Senior Center and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus parish, but most of all, Amelia loved spending time with her family and friends.
Amelia was predeceased by her son, Dennis DeSantis; and her sister, Angie Rizzo.
Amelia is survived by her daughter, Dianne Pica (Ron) of Newton, N.H.; sons, Russell (Miguel Reyes) of West Palm Beach, and Sam (Rachel) of Lawrence; granddaughter, Rachelle DeSantis of Methuen, Mass.; grandson, Scott Anderson of Lawrence; sisters, Teresa Skorupka and Jennie Scuncio, both of Lawrence; and many nieces and nephews.
Amelia will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
