Denis Brisson, 62


Salem, N.H. — Denis Brisson, 62, of Salem, N.H., formerly of Lawrence, died at home Wednesday, November 28, after a long illness, surrounded by his loving daughter and family.

Born June 6, 1950 in Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada, Denis was the son of Wilfrid and Lucille (Viau) Brisson.

For most of his life Denis was a carpenter and contractor. Most recently, he was employed as a facilities manager with Sungard Securities in Salem, N.H. where he worked for over 20 years.

Denis was a Vietnam Veteran serving his country in the United States Army and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and an M-16 Sharpshooter Badge.

Denis will be greatly missed by a large number of friends he made through the years with AA., the French Social, and many other organizations.

Denis will be deeply missed by his daughter, Melissa L . Moreau and her husband, Chanel and his granddaughters, Isabelle and Eva, all of Methuen; brothers, Claude Brisson and his wife, Marjolaine of Lawrence, Pierre Brisson, Jacques Brisson and his wife, Laurie, Gilles Brisson and Ivon Brisson and his wife, Michelle, all of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sisters, Helene Ferland and Diane Connor both of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Ginette Carrier and her husband, Jeff of Naples, Fla. Denis is also survived by his former wife, Lise (St. Pierre) Brisson of Salem, N.H. Denis also will be missed by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends will honor and celebrate Denis’ life by gathering for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Monica's Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen on Saturday, December 1 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will take place on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
