Marion C. (Foye) Bacon, 93


Haverhill — Marion C. (Foye) Bacon, 93, of Bedford, NH, formerly of Haverhill, passed away, Wednesday, November 28, at the Bedford Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Andover, she was the daughter of the late, Joseph and Bridgette Foye. She attended Andover Public Schools and Andover High School.

Relocating to Haverhill, she and her late husband Charles G. Bacon Sr. settled and raised their family here.

Mrs. Bacon was employed as an assembler at I.T.T. Corporation and she also waited tables at the old Tuscarora restaurant and the former Howard Johnson’s for many years, retiring in 1981.

She enjoyed baking, bingo, playing cards, family get togethers, adventures with the girls and her cigarettes. She was always ready to get up and go.

The widow of Charles G. Bacon Sr., who died in 1998, she leaves her beloved family, including two sons; Glenn G. Bacon, and his wife Maureen (Nichols) of Merrimack, NH; Charles G. Bacon Jr. of Manchester, NH; a daughter, Carolyn De Veau and her husband Greg, of Annapolis, MD, 7 cherished grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Mass to be celebrated on January 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM in All Saints Church, Bellevue Ave. Haverhill.
