Moultonboro, N.H. — Therese Annette Sullo, 66, of Moultonboro and formerly Wakefield, passed away at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice Center in Scarborough, Maine on Tuesday, December 11, 2012.
Born in Stoneham on November 8, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Fortini and Rose (Cerbone) Fortini Tartarini.
Mrs. Sullo was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1964. She had also graduated from Northeastern University and had obtained her mater's degree from Lesley College in Cambridge. A member and past president of the New England Business Travel Associates, Therese had worked for many years as a corporate travel manager/meeting planner for Akamai Technologies. And was a volunteer at Moultonboro/Sandwich Meals on Wheels.
Wife of Joseph F. Sullo, Jr. of Moultonboro, N.H.; mother of Ann Marie Arone and husband, Joseph of Pelham, N.H. and Mike Sullo of Brooklyn, N.Y.; sister of Philip Fortini of Londonderry, N.H., Lisa Buitenhuys of Bristol, N.H. and Janine Fortini of Wakefield, Mass.; grandmother of Julianna and Joseph, Jr. Arone. Also survived by nephews Bradley Buitenhuys and David Goss, Jr.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Parish, 71 Central Street, Stoneham, on Saturday, December 15, at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave Wakefield, on Friday December 14, from 4 – 8 p.m.
