Boxford — Emily J.(Carlan) Salamone 92, of Boxford died suddenly on Friday at her residence.

Emily was born on June 9,1920 to the late Willaim and Catherine (White)Carlan.

She was employed as an engraver for sixty years at Fort Hill in Malden and was a past member of the V.F.W. in Saugus.

She had a zest for life, enjoying family, friends, dancing, music, learning and contributing to the life of others.

The widow of the late Frank J. Salamone, Emily is survived by her daughters, Claire Daigle and her husband Robert of Boxford and Diane Salamone of Saugus.

Also among her survivors are her grandchildren, Robert Daigle Jr. and his fiance' Christine Bird, Carlyn Daigle, Shauna Murray and her husband Jason and Sofia Raziq, as well as her great grandchildren, Robert Daigle III, Christopher Daigle and Jameson Murray.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Conte Funeral Home 17 Third Street North Andover. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 9-11 AM at the funeral home.
