  • Maria A. (Rancatore) Rizzo, 85

    Andover — Maria A. (Rancatore) Rizzo, 85, died July 16, 2014 at her home in Andover. Born to the late Agostino and Diana (Secondari) Rancatore, she graduated from St. Mary’s High School and Boston University. Mrs. Rizzo was a business representative for the New England Telephone Company for many years. More recently she became a teacher’s aide for the Lawrence School System. She was an accomplished pianist who played at Carnegie Hall at the age of 9. She was a trustee of the Andover Library for 20 years, a member of the Ladies Lodge 2026 Sons of Italy, The Essex Needle Craft Guild, B.U. Alumni Association, and the Musician Union 372, AF of M. In 1994, Mrs. Rizzo was installed as an affiliate of the Augustinian Order.

He loved animals, fishing and spending time at the beach. He also loved sports, particularly football, wrestling, baseball, and basketball, and was a fan of all the Boston teams. Kevin loved music and to dance. He was known by many for his sense of humor, big heart, friendship, and kind concern for others less fortunate.

    Lawrence — Peggy Oliveto passed into the arms of her Lord, peacefully, on June 25, 2014, at her home in Lawrence. She was 79 years old, and a native of Bowling Green, Ohio, and also had lived in North Carolina. Peggy was the daughter of the late Frank Kulevich and Eleanor Schaefer, and the wife of the late Louis J. Oliveto. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Jarvis, with whom she lived; and sons, John Oliveto of North Carolina, and Mark Oliveto and his wife, Cindy, of Washington. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Tim is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

    Haverhill — Joseph P. Randazza, 80, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2014, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, after living with pancreatic cancer for more than six years. He was surrounded by the love of his son, daughter and wife. Joe was the husband of H. Jacqueline “Jackie” Randazza, who shared her love of life with Joe and lovingly cared for him during his declining years. Jackie would like to acknowledge the assistance provided by the Merrimack Valley Hospice home care providers. Their professionalism and respect was evident.

William “Bill” Magro; and daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Cossette) Adams. She is survived by three children, William E. Magro and his wife, Frances (Piazza) Magro of Methuen, Thomas A. Magro of Nashua, N.H., and his fiancée, Darlene Forsyth of Dracut, and Janet M. (Smith) Consoli and her husband, Stephen, of Hampton, N.H.; former daughter in-law, Maureen Magro of Dunstable; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Shad Smith; brothers, Joseph Adams and Francis Adams; and a sister, Pauline Kingman.
