To the editor:
Hats off, or rather, shoes off to the City of Haverhill, Mr. Eric Karistad and his committee for coming up with the wonderful Soles of Haverhill Shoe-la-Bration idea.
As avid letter and postcard writers we jumped at the chance to help Haverhill break the Guinness World Record of the most cards sent on the same day from the same city.
We loved seeing the shoes recently at the stadium and although we are Andover residents, we were very happy to participate in such a fun event.
We wish Haverhill the best of luck and hope you beat the record.
