There is a lot of tailgating going on. Some of us do obey speed limits. Just because there is minimal police presence on our roadways doesn’t mean you can act like an idiot and cause an unsafe situation. You will only cause me to go slower to be more cautious.
My husband and I have just started to walk a few weeks ago at the Methuen walking park, where the railroad tracks used to be. Right now it begins at Pep Boys in Salem, N.H., and goes all the way to Malden Mills, which is wonderful. A group of volunteers made this possible. Today as we walked we were dodging horse droppings — a lot of horse droppings. I don’t know if the MSPCA walks their horses on the trail or whoever does should clean up their mess out of respect for others. It is a nice, safe place for seniors or anyone to have a peaceful nature walk. Whoever you are, please don’t spoil this for others.
When you vote for U.S. senator remember that the representatives running did nothing to protect us from the Marathon bombing. Congressmen Markey and Lynch have been in the House many years and have done nothing to get justice for U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens or victims of the Fort Hood attack, which Obama calls workplace violence. Why would they change their ways if elected to the Senate?
Just read about the Daniel Spero and David Burns drug bust. Daniel has been on disability since 1998? The system is definitely broken! I can only pray the mayor is smart enough to stop his disability checks from the city. And people of Massachusetts, you need to wake up and smell the coffee. Stop voting in the same people who do not have our best interests at heart.
