To the editor:
I am writing this letter to encourage all voters in North Andover to re-elect Tracy Watson to the Board of Selectmen. Tracy has been a proven leader over her six years as a selectman for the town she has called home her entire life.
She was a strong advocate for restoring Main Street and smartly developing this important area of our town. Her role as a founding member of the North Andover Merchants Association solidified her commitment to the business community and has reaped numerous rewards for all of us. This group has brought a new and revitalized life to our business community!
Her pro-business approach has given our community new effective zoning downtown as well as along Route 114.
She was a leader in the process of restoring a dilapidated nursing home into Stevens Corner while also bringing much needed affordable housing to our community.
She has played an integral part in creating our town’s new Facilities Master Plan, which has already given us major benefits with the completion of a new police station. New school administration and fire station buildings are currently in the pipeline due to this plan.
She is and always has been an advocate for the people. This year will be the first year ever that the Town of North Andover will not be taxing residents to the levy.
There are more successes in the past, but Tracy is always looking forward. She is running again because she loves this town and its people.
I believe that Tracy is still the right voice and the right choice for our community so I ask voters to please join me in support of her by getting out and voting for Tracy Watson on Tuesday, March 25.
