To the editor:
Now is the time for all good Americans to come to the aid of their country before our Constitution ceases to exist as we know it. Shame on all you politicians in Washington. If our founding fathers were here today, then there would be no need to write this letter. Please read on.
Our once great country is being destroyed by the out-of-control abuse of power, corruption, rhetoric, lies, and broken promises by all levels of our government, whether liberals or conservatives, they are all politicians serving their own agenda and not the people they represent.
How can we change this course without force? It's simple, we have not engaged the awesome power of God, for with God everything is possible.
It happened in Nineveh (check your Bible), and it can happen here in America if we act now. If you believe in God, and most Americans do, then have your house of worship ring its bells at noon every day, as in the past, to call all people to pray for change in our country, pray wherever you are, just pray.
Our politicians would not listen — but God will. For without God returning in our lives and country, it will only get worse.
If you won't do it for yourself, then do it for our future generations. What are you waiting for? God is waiting, but for how long?
If not now, when? If not us, who? We are 300 million strong against 545 politicians in Washington. We don't want socialism, we want our country back, which is by the people and for the people, so help me God.
