Letter: Magliocchetti is best choice for School Committee

To the editor:

Attorney Paul Magliocchetti is the best candidate for School Committee.

Paul is a respected and successful attorney and partner of the firm Sheehan, Schiavoni, Jutras, and Magliocchetti. A lifelong Haverhill resident, Paul owns a home and small business in Haverhill, and all three of his children have been a part of the Haverhill school system. Paul has been a part of the Haverhill School Committee for the past four years. Dedicated and professional, Paul is always taking the role of leader during meetings to ensure that all necessary tasks are accomplished, never hesitating to challenge the mayor or the superintendent to account for how they are spending the taxpayer’s money.

After Paul was elected, the School Committee came together as a unit and they have worked well with the superintendent. Over the past four years, Paul has addressed all issues on his agenda, including providing more textbooks and supplies to the students, improving the technology in the classrooms, developing a curriculum which allows the students to excel, and repairing the school buildings. These are just a few examples of the success and positive change Paul has brought to the school system during his past years on the committee.

Paul will work hard to ensure that the best is provided for our children and for the taxpayers that pay for their education. Please join me and vote for Paul Magliocchetti for School Committee on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
