---- — Hector’s wrong
Whatever Hector Longo is on I want some. Any team that trades its entire draft for a 35-year-old QB who has, as Longo himself states, diminishing skills is nuts. He mentions the Herschel Walker and Ricky Williams trades. How did that work out for the teams that traded their entire draft for those two guys? Lousy.
Bye, bye Gisele?
Trade Brady? No, trade Gisele! And stop drinking the Kool-Aid. Herschel Walker-type deals are a thing of the past!
I sent a paper tax return on April 15, 2012, to the State of New Hampshire. As of today, I still do not have my refund. They say they used new software that had a bug and will have to compare every paper return with the program. However, they cannot seem to find the paper returns. The good news, I am earning interest. I just want my refund.
Bias is clear
Raise your hands if you saw the news coverage of the March for Life in Washington, D.C. recently. Hundreds of thousands of people of all ages, from every race, gender, religion marching down Constitution Avenue to show their support for the right to life for the millions of unborn babies murdered right here in the United States of America. And the media decides it’s not important enough to print. Even Fox News, which pretends to be fair and unbiased, chose to ignore this extraordinary event. Not so long ago we were inundated with news coverage of the few Occupy Wall Street protestors who set up their tents anywhere and everywhere. Looks like obvious bias to me.
Shame on them
The capable football coach and staff in North Andover were fired because they expected the kids to be law-abiding, responsible team players. If the players can’t live up to these standards, they don’t belong on the team. What a terrible shame!
First, it was instate tuition for illegal immigrants, allowing them to compete with your children for admission and grants. The governor now proposes a 1 percent increase in the state income tax, increases in the gas tax and cigarette tax, and increased license and registration fees. He also wants to eliminate the child care deduction, tuition deduction, capital gains deduction on home sale, etc. You low information voters, you better wake up before your whole paycheck is direct-deposited to the state and federal governments and they’ll be giving you an EBT card.
All the talk nowadays is about reforming “entitlements” to help balance the budget. I don’t get how Social Security is the most referred to “entitlement” that apparently needs reform. How about welfare, food stamps, free rent, college education, cell phones? These are all gifts to the people who haven’t paid in a dime. I have been paying into Social Security for over 40 years, and these crooked politicians are trying to figure out ways to keep MY money from me. We need to start a revolution in this country.
I was just reading the front page article on “Heroes behind the Badge” about a documentary about how dangerous a police officer’s job is and statistics about death rates. Although I do believe being a police officer is a dangerous job, it is nowhere near the most dangerous. Taxi drivers and garbage collectors have a more dangerous job. It’s true. Look it up. Maybe we should do a documentary on them.
