Ineptocracy, (in-ep-toc’-ra-cy): A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers. Welcome to the U.S.I. while it lasts.
I was in the Methuen library today. There was a busload of children running around with raised voices and absolutely no respect or consideration for others. Is this the norm now? Are children not taught to be quiet in libraries? The lack of manners and respect with today’s generation makes you wonder what is happening to society.
Graffiti scribblers love to tag the large wall of the Multigrain Bakery building on Melrose Street in Lawrence. As a resident of the area I appreciate the efforts the company makes to keep the wall clean and neat. Graffiti is a quality of life issue in the city. So keep up keep the good efforts, Multigrain. Thank you.
Boy, oh, boy! This president and his administration love to release those who would harm the law-abiding citizens of this country. Think about the thousands of jail cells in this country that have been emptied with no thought given to either the folks who were the victims of these prisoners or the men and women who put their lives on the line to get them off the streets. Now they’ve taken it a giant step further by releasing five known and violent terrorists so we can get back a deserter. Are they even capable of understanding that there can now easily be another Twin Towers episode?
