To the editor:
I'd like to share my thoughts about Ovide Lamontagne, a fiscally responsible, constitutional conservative candidate for U.S. Senate.
I have spoken with Ovide on several occasions, and feel that he is the best choice for U.S. Senator, for restoring our government back to the principals of our founding fathers ... small government and individual liberties, while serving with honor.
During my conversations with Ovide, he went into detail about what needs to be done to control spending, promote job growth, increase border security and to root out the corruption and greed that is driving our country into bankruptcy. He has well-thought-out plans that will get our country back on track, and he has put a pledge of 15 promises in writing on his website www.ovide2010.com, so that we can hold him accountable.
In the next few weeks, the most important votes that we can all cast are during the primaries on Sept. 14. It is on this day that we will have the opportunity to ensure that the best candidates in the race will still be on the ballet in the November elections.
I urge you to consider voting for Ovide Lamontagne on Sept. 14, and then again in November. Let's put constitutional conservative people into office who will protect our rights, reduce our government and serve with honor.
