Change the law

To “Supremes don’t”: I get it, when the Supreme Court does something you like it’s not political, when they do something you disagree with, it’s an “activist court,” right? The Court ruled 7-2 that a constitutional right to privacy under the due process clause of the 14th Amendment extended to a woman’s decision. Don’t like it? Change the law. Don’t confuse your feelings with the law.

Beating inflation

I have been through nine decades and know all the answers. Sometimes it’s the questions that bother me. Gas jumped 7 cents, college prices are going up, some already have. The quickest way to make the middle class into the lower class is through inflation. How long does anyone think prices can go up when the people are not getting pay raises to cover these price increases? When and if the day ever comes that when prices go up, pay increases will be automatic, that is when inflation will stop.

Save MB

This Thursday, the Board of Directors will vote whether to remove the head of Market Basket supermarkets. If you want to keep “More for Your Dollar,” go to your local Market Basket and ask to sign the petition to keep Artie T, or go to “thepetitionsite.com” and sign on to Save Market Basket.
