To the editor:
I am proud to see my friend Joe D’Amore run for Board of Selectmen in Groveland. Joe is a two-term school committeeman at Pentucket and I’ve watched his career over that course and admire him.
He is a genuine fiscal conservative who tries to find ways to help students during very tough financial conditions as we continue to experience. Recently, he supported Pentucket’s administration to advocate strongly for a strategic financial plan that eliminates high-end central administration positions, eliminates all public school fees for extra curricular activities and improves access to services for students.
Groveland will be well served by a fiscal conservative who can negotiate with people and find creative ways in improving service to others despite tough financial conditions. Being fiscally conservative does not mean “cutting” programs but reorganizing finances and working with people to take different approaches to keep serving others with less resources
That is surely an impressive reason to vote for Joe on May 6.
