To the editor:
When it comes to state representative, we believe that it is important to have someone who genuinely wants to serve their community. This is why we are so proud to be supporting Phil DeCologero as our next state representative.
We first met Phil through the North Andover Merchants Association. He was volunteering to organize the association’s first Cystic Fibrosis Night. Phil led a team of local businesses, residents and volunteers. Phil’s efforts created an annual event that has generated over $9,000 in donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We have enjoyed working with Phil year after year on this project and our relationship has since grown into a friendship filled with both respect and admiration.
This is our personal experience working with Phil, but over the years we have seen his genuine efforts to make our community a better place. As residents and business owners, we are encouraged by Phil’s passion for serving the Merrimack Valley, and we know that this passion will fuel Phil’s efforts to support our local economy while also fighting for a transparent, responsible government.
The goal of a state representative should be to improve the lives of the residents they serve. The best person for that job is someone who has already proven time and again that they are committed to our community. That’s why Phil DeCologero can count on our vote.
