Letter: Time for Rep. Adams to grow up

To the editor:

My imagination ran away with me after reading the State House News Service article in the Tribune (”Adams: ‘This won’t be the last time they deal with me’,” Dec. 4).

Paul Adams gave his spoiled loser speech, stating that he would be back. I began to picture him lying on his back on the floor of the House throwing a tantrum like a little kid who couldn’t get his way in the candy store.

Mr. Adams, you didn’t lose the race because the cards were stacked against you. You lost because you were a do-nothing state rep who thought he could just walk into a Senate seat.

Although I don’t always agree with Barry Finegold and some of the choices he has made, at least he makes decisions and didn’t try to buy his way into the Senate.

Mr. Adams, go out into the real world and get a real job. Get some life experience under your belt then come back and tell us you’re a viable candidate. Life is full of ups and downs, and kicking you feet in the air in a tantrum is not going to get you elected.
