Letter: Support Dalton for selectman in Groveland

To the editor:

As someone who has worked with Anthony Dalton for over 16 years, I heartily approve of Anthony’s decision to bring his considerable talents to bear on behalf of the Town of Groveland. The same professionalism, intelligence and successful team-building skills that have made him so successful in the private sector would be equally meaningful in public service. Anthony’s strong sense of fairness and keen listening abilities are two qualities that I believe make him the candidate of choice for voters looking for honest representation and solutions-oriented leadership.

Anthony’s devotion to his wife, children, mother, extended family and friendships is sure to be a factor in each and every decision he makes on behalf of the voters that place their trust in him by electing him into office. His perspective is one that would encompass the interests of the entirety of his constituency, from young to old, with equal respect.

Anthony Dalton’s decision to enter public service is a chance for the voters of Groveland to benefit from the dedication of a truly high quality person with an honest desire to make things better for his town. The voters of Groveland should hasten to accept Anthony’s offer of service; it is not often that an individual many companies would eagerly hire on the merits of his professional accomplishments is willing to devote himself in service to the greater good of his town.
