Casual dress
Why does the president always dress casually? He hardly ever wears a tie and a jacket. I don't understand it. Most presidents always wore jackets and ties.
Cut us off
Before November's elections, I would like to see a list of the congressmen who voted to cut off cost of living increases to seniors, so that we can know, a little more accurately, what we should vote on.
On vacation
Obama doesn't care about this country. If he really did, then he would be upset like everybody else. Every normal person is upset about the economy. Here he is on vacation. He does not care about this country. It's ridiculous.
Dukakis
I found it rather amusing that former Gov. Michael Dukakis said that Mitt Romney was not presidential material. This from a man who destroyed this state, much in the same way that Obama is in the process of destroying this country.
Damon's choice
Red Sox fans would have been crazy if they thought Johnny Damon was going to come back here after the way they treated him on his return to Fenway Park after he was traded. They were unmerciful. They booed him every time he was up at bat and they booed him when his name was called. On the other hand, he also left the Yankees. When he came back, they cheered him. That's the main difference between Red Sox fans and Yankees fans. Yankee fans treat people better when they come back.
Old computers
I was recently at the North Andover High School and could not believe the condition of the computers. They have these Macs that are like 7 years old and falling apart. Yet I attended a School Committee meeting where the director of technology proposed spending almost $1 million on switches. I have been in IT for over 30 years and can tell you that there is no point in having a million-dollar backbone when the students cannot even login and do their work on these old computers.
Who is he?
Mike Dukakis is saying that Mitt Romney was a lousy governor. Who is he to throw stones? Dukakis was an enormous failure. What has Mike Dukakis ever done and who cares what he thinks?
Won't forget
Methuen teachers' greed for raises and step increases in addition to their cowardice in confronting their own union leadership has resulted in a poorer education for Methuen students and lost employment for some of their rank and file. We, the parents and taxpayers of Methuen, will remember these actions when it's time for your next contract negotiations. We will not forget.
Drain the swamp
OK, Massachusetts voters, let's see if we can get it right this time. We need to "Drain the Swamp" once and for all! If you get any political literature in the mail, look at it closely. If the literature is paid for by unions or other special interest groups, that tells us the politician being endorsed has "strings attached" to that specific organization. We need politicians that do not owe favors to anybody! Let's "Drain the Swamp." Do not let unions or special interest groups push you around! Vote for new candidates with fresh new ideas that are not part of the old-time establishment! Stand tall, vote new, vote fresh!
