In the field of candidates running for North Andover town moderator, one stands out in our minds as the best person for the job — Mark DiSalvo.
Mark provides integrity, balance, and professionalism to the very important Town Meeting process. We particularly find his interests in expanding access to Town Meeting for the citizens of North Andover through the use of technology, as a sign of a forward thinker who is in touch with the needs of all. We have enjoyed Mark's contributions to the town meetings he has attended, in fact, that is every town meeting over the past four decades!
Anyone who has met Mark knows he is intelligent, very welcoming, and creates an environment for collaboration and respect — these are critical attributes for the "referee" of our town meetings. He understands the importance of establishing common sense ground rules and believes in ensuring direct questions are answered.
We have no doubt he will be a great town moderator for the town's current needs and for years to come. We urge you in joining us by voting for Mark DiSalvo on March 27.
