To the editor:
May 2012 is when I first got to know the hard-working, tireless Diana DiZoglio. She dropped off one of her flyers in my mail box with her cell phone number and I gave her a call. She called me back the next day and the two of us had a nice 20-minute conversation and I was more than impressed with her compassionate style, especially about working-class families and many other issues concerning ordinary people.
She got my support in the 2012 Democratic primary and also the November general election. She will also get my entire support in both the 2014 primary and general election.
She does an excellent job for the entire constituency of Methuen, Haverhill, North Andover and Lawrence. She sometimes works at the Statehouse until midnight and in her entire district until 10 p.m. and even later. She shows she is warm, caring and compassionate and is a champion for seniors, education, public safety, pro-union, pro-labor and pro-business issues. She wants to increase the minimum wage to $11 an hour, supports the domestic bill by allowing sick days and rest time in the work place, and is for identification on EBT cards, against welfare abuse and fraud. She favors tougher laws for all sex offenders and dangerous criminals, voter identification, helping veterans and strong campaign finance reform.
