To the editor:
Monday, Dec. 14 proved to be a very warm day for many senior citizens in the Salisbury area. What a treat it would be for our elders to be transported to a grand restaurant overlooking the water for a fine meal during these harsh times. Was this just dreaming or wishful thinking?
This was real. Some of our seniors who typically would not be able to get out, much less afford a grand meal, were treated like kings and queens at the Seaglass Pavilion Ocean View Room to full course dinners, all courtesy of Wayne Capolupo and Kathy Aiello who wanted to give back and brighten our seniors' day. Eighty seniors enjoyed various delightful, enticing dishes, as well as exceptional service by the staff of Seaglass.
Wayne and Kathy went above and beyond showing their respect and appreciation for our senior community, greeting each guest, discussing current events, and spreading good cheer to all. Our senior community was shown lots of love and a huge sense of pride.
Wayne is a great businessman, but aside from that, he is a proud Salisbury resident who genuinely appreciates our senior citizens and shows them. It is through his efforts that our senior citizens get to experience the extraordinary, for which we are extremely grateful.
On behalf of our senior citizens, I thank the staff of Seaglass, our van driver, Susan Kilduff, Kathy Aiello and Wayne Capolupo for an exceptionally pleasant, extraordinary experience that warmed our seniors to the core.
