Letter: Rotary redesign needs police enforcement

To the editor:

Recently, the Massachusetts Highway Department made some changes to Interstate 93's Exit 46 onto routes 110 and 113. The design is superbly simple requiring no construction changes, only new roadway lines and traffic signs. The backup of traffic exiting from the interstate, and others trying to get through the traffic circle, has been greatly reduced.

However, it is now time for the police departments (state and/or Methuen) to begin enforcing the lane restrictions. Without compliance, traffic will begin to bog down again as it was before the changes.
