To the editor:
Jon Golnik is the 3rd Congressional District’s best hope to get this economy growing again. We are saddled now with chronically high unemployment, trillions of dollars in debt and runaway spending — 43 cents of every $1 spent is borrowed. We are now at the point where every American household owes China $47,000. This must stop.
What is Niki Tsongas’ solution? More borrowing, more spending, higher taxes and more regulation. The last four years have shown us that this is a formula for insolvency.
As a small business owner, Jon Golnik understands that the current tax and regulatory environment we live in stifles the ability of business owners to create jobs. With no clear idea of the future, employers can’t hire and expand their businesses.
Jon wants to lower the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 25 percent to encourage businesses to remain in the United States. He wants to repeal the job-killing juggernaut known as “Obamacare.” He has pledged not to raise taxes on families who are struggling so hard to get by.
I know Jon to be a hard-working, tireless advocate for the citizens of the 3rd District. That’s why I will be voting for Jon Golnik on Nov. 6. I urge you to do the same.
