This is in response to the person who wrote that teacher aides in Methuen are nothing more than baby sitters for the teachers: Your ignorance is apparent in your statement. First of all, teacher aides are employed in special education to assist teachers in the care and education of children with special needs. I challenge you to spend just one week doing the job of an assistant and I am sure your opinion will be changed. Assistants are educated and certified and deliver not only personal care for these students but assist in the delivery of their educational needs, which is far more than one teacher can do alone. Please refrain from judging until you know your facts.
I would like to give a huge congratulations to the boys of both the AJHL and MET teams of the Northern Cyclones Hockey Team of Hudson, N.H., for winning their division title! These boys have worked long and hard and deserve some recognition! They play this weekend at Cyclones Arena! Good luck, boys with your respective playoff games!
I have lived in South Lawrence for over 30 years and planes and helicopters fly over my house from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. every night and have landed and taken off with no traffic controller quite nicely. Please, stop the sequester scare tactics. This is a small airport, not Logan.
