Move over, buddy!
I travel on Interstate 93 daily and I’m seeing a new trend. Cars going 60-65 mph in the high speed lane and staying there for miles, even with multiple cars behind them wanting to go by. Newsflash: You are not the only car on the road. If you want to go slower than everybody else, stay in the right lane!
Regarding the editorial on the Timberlane High School student and her right to “bare arms”: The school principal and teachers are bullying and threatening her. I think we should look carefully at the teachers and principal. If it were my child, I would be taking them to court.
I see that the city of Amesbury has begun fishing through people’s trash to see how much recyclable materials are being thrown out. At this time, they claim to be “refraining” from giving out fines to people who may throw out a plastic bottle or soda can. It’s amazing the lengths local cities and towns are going to nowadays to try and save a buck. They never address the real issues of overspending. Maybe they should cut some of those $100,000 a year public employee salaries or those bloated pensions with full health care.
Just a theory
Does anyone wonder, as I do, why state Sen. Barry Feingold always has no comment when it comes to Lantigua and Lawrence? Could it be votes?
To all those people who are forgetting that the first two years of Obama’s presidency, he had control of both the House and Senate. What did he accomplish? All that came from that fiasco was Obamacare, which Nancy Pelosi openly said let’s pass this thing so we can see what it’s all about. Some accomplishment, huh? In fact, what promise did he really keep for the American people, but a lot of eloquent words with no meaning?
