To the editor:

I have been a Hillary Clinton supporter but I'm now going to vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden. The pick of Sarah Palin is a joke. McCain picked Sarah Palin for one reason only and that is to try and fool us Hillary Clinton voters. Well I for one will not vote for the McCain-Palin ticket.

Then we have John McCain saying the surge is working in Iraq. It might be working 4,150 troops later and after bad management of the war.

The McCain-Palin agenda is the same as that of President George W. Bush. We had eight years of the worst economic times in history. Sen. McCain voted for the war in Iraq and that was the wrong war at the wrong time! In fact we needed to focus more on Afghanistan than Iraq.

Gas prices are close to $4 or over in some places. The housing market is in the slumps, thousands of jobs lost.

Some might say that the Obama-Biden ticket is for higher taxes. This applies only to those making over $200,000 a year.

Sen. McCain is now saying he is about change. Who is he kidding? I should say that Senator Obama has more experience than the McCain-Palin ticket.

McCain served his country but it is time for a change. We need Sen. Barack Obama and Joe Biden as our next president and vice president of the United States. As a former Clinton voter, I am now going to vote for Obama-Biden.
