Merrimack women's soccer win shootout

The Merrimack women's soccer team won an overtime shootout 5-4 against Adelphi in a Northeast-10 Conference tournament quarterfinal contest yesterday.

The score was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation.

Merrimack advanced to play undefeated The College of St. Rose in the semifinals Thursday.

The men's soccer team lost to Southern Connecticut, 2-1, in the quarterfinals and were eliminated from the Northeast-10 Conference tournament.
