Letter: Let's debate without absurd generalities
To the editor:
After reading Jo Rossello's letter to the editor "Republicans only care about ..." I couldn't stop laughing. Her absurd generalities were sad and pathetic.
To say that Democrats have respect for all and then write a letter so nasty made no sense at all. How boring life would be if we all agreed on every issue We do have basically a two-party system. Of course not all Republicans believe everything Limbaugh or Beck say.
If all the Democrats were for the health plan it would have passed by now and the last I heard it hadn't, because not all Democrats are for it. Some, believe it or not, are concerned about how we will pay for it.
It seems to me that Chris Dodd and Barney Frank received a little money from financial special interest groups and then played a huge part in the whole mortgage fiasco, believing everyone had the right to own a home even if they couldn't afford it.
And to talk about Republican morality after we had Clinton's lady friends and lies. I could go on and on about all the absurd things in her letter but I will just end by saying it is fine to disagree but please do it in an educated and respectful manner without all the absurd generalities. It only shows a lack of class and education.
