Tools stolen from car

HAVERHILL — Power tools were reported stolen from a car parked outside the owner's home at 56 Lowell Ave., police said.

Kenneth Goodwin told Officer Ronald Hilchey that a five-piece set of Ryobi power tools in a case was stolen from his car, which he parked near his home Wednesday at 8 p.m.

He discovered the tools were gone the next morning when he arrived at work. Hilchey reported no sign of forced entry to the car.

The theft was reported at 2:40 p.m. Thursday.
