Anthony Mancini of North Andover and Peter Pizzi of North Andover were named Boardroom Leadership Scholars at Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School. Twenty graduating MBA students were selected as members of the Boardroom Leadership Scholars program, a unique initiative within the Sawyer Business School.

Each year the Suffolk MBA program invites a nationally known business leader to serve as the boardroom leader. As part of this year's program, Josh McCall, chairman and CEO of Jack Morton Worldwide, a leading global experiential marketing agency, led a discussion with the boardroom scholars on how to succeed in a global economy.

To be considered for the Boardroom Leadership Scholars program, students must meet the requirements for graduation; write a 500-word essay on what it takes to be a leader in today's global business environment; and demonstrate leadership capability, skills and interest. Twenty students are selected each year.
