ANDOVER — Jason Edgar and Jeffrey McDonald have been appointed as vice presidents/portfolio managers with Enterprise Investment Advisors. Prior to joining Enterprise, Edgar was a portfolio manager at Sovereign Bank's Wealth Management Group, where he managed over $1 billion in client assets. He has also worked as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management in Boston. McDonald also worked as a portfolio manager in the Wealth Management Group with Sovereign, managing client assets of over $1 billion. In addition, he served as a fixed income manager for a $3 billion pension fund in New York, worked on the institutional fixed income trading desk at Fidelity in Boston, and developed a wealth management practice at Merrill Lynch. A resident of Andover, he is a graduate of Fairfield University and Bentley College. Both individuals will work out of Enterprise's Andover office, located at 8 High St.



LAWRENCE — Multicultural Home Care of Lynn, Lawrence and Brighton and Freedom Home Care in Peabody, have named Patricia Ann Tierney as its new clinical manager. She most recently worked at Harvard Pilgrim, where she served as an on-site case manager overseeing Acute Rehab and Skilled Nursing facilities. She also served as the director of Clinical Services at LifePlans Inc. and Medical Resources Home Health Care Corporation.



METHUEN — Lester P. Schindel, president and chief executive officer of Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, has joined the board of the Northern Essex Community College Foundation. He has his bachelor's from Rutgers University and his master's in health care administration from George Washington University. He is also on the Merrimack Valley Workforce Investment Board, vice president of the Jewish Family Services of Metrowest Board of Directors, and on the board and a trustee for the Framingham United Soccer Club.



HAVERHILL — Alan Jenne of Haverhill has joined Commerce Bank as vice president of Consumer Lending. In this position, he will be responsible for all of the bank's lending to consumers, including home equity lending and automobile and personal loans. He previously served as chief executive officer of the Lawrence Firefighters Federal Credit Union and as senior vice president of Consumer Lending for First Essex Bank in Andover. A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, he serves on the board of directors of Notre Dame High School in Lawrence.



HAVERHILL — Haverhill Bank employees Alison Hall, a mortgage servicing specialist, and Shelly-Ann Cullen, a commercial loan assistant, received multiple diplomas from the Center for Financial Training of Connecticut. Hall received certificates in Introduction to Lending and Introduction to Credit Analysis and a diploma in Advanced Financial Services. She received a First in Class award for Analyzing Financial Statements and Commercial Lending. Cullen is working toward a diploma in Commercial Lending and received a First in Class award for Analyzing Financial Statements.



NORTH ANDOVER — Kristin Nordahl, financial representative with The MNE Group, an agency of New England Financial, has been certified as a MetDESK Specialist. A member of The MNE Group in North Andover, she has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. In addition to working with special needs families, she works with individuals, families and business owners. She is a certified financial planner practitioner, and a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, an international association of leading financial professionals. She has also earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and has completed the course work and received a certificate in retirement planning from Wharton School of Business.


