Katherine L. Bouchard and Christopher M. Mertz

Katherine Laurette Bouchard and Christopher Michael Mertz were married on July 13, 2008. The ceremony and reception were both held at Church Landing in Meredith, N.H. The honorable Edward Redmond officiated the cermony on the grounds of Church Landing overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee. The bride's father Marcel gave his daughter in marriage.

Katherine is the daughter of Laurette and Marcel Bouchard of Berlin, N.H. Christopher is the son of Phyllis and Kenneth Mertz of Salem, N.H.

The maid of honor was Lauren Radochia of Billerica. Bridesmaids were sisters of the groom Kendra Mertz of Salem, N.H. and Aimee Mertz of Boston, and longtime friends of the bride Hilary Healy of Brockton, Chandra Gavin of Manchester, N.H., and Meghan Theberge of Gorham, N.H.

The best man was the father of the groom, Kenneth Mertz of Salem, N.H. Ushers were longtime friends Jason Emerson, Jason Dzierlatka, Jeffery Garcia all of Salem, N.H., Eric Aboshar of Epping, N.H., and Christopher Hildebrandt of Hudson, N.H.

Katherine is a graduate of Berlin High School. She graduated from Plymouth State University where she received her Master's Degree in Education. She is a sixth grade math teacher in Salem, N.H.

Christopher is a graduate of Salem High School. He graduated from Plymouth State University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He is currently working on his master's degree in software engineering from Brandeis University. He is employed as a software engineer.

The couple vacationed in the Mayan Riviera for their honeymoon. They reside in Pelham, N.H.
