Sunday, May 17, is the annual Strut for Strays walk, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bartlet Mall, located at the intersection of Pond and High streets in Newburyport. Sheep get a makeover

North Andover once again hosts its annual Sheep Shearing Festival on Sunday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the Old North Andover Common. Activities include herding demonstrations, pony rides, craft fair, food vendors, herb sale. There is parking at the Franklin School, with free shuttle service to and from the festival.
