Elderly, general public flu clinics planned
NORTH ANDOVER — Elderly Public Housing Complexes will offer flu clinics for the elderly Friday, Oct. 10, and Wednesday, Oct. 15. The clinics are free for people aged 65 and older. Participants must bring a proof of Medicare or insurance coverage. A general flu clinic for people ages 18 and older will be held Monday, Oct. 20.
Clinic locations and hours are:
Friday, Oct. 10: 10 to 11 a.m. at Bingham Way, First Street; 11:30 a.m. to noon at O'Connor Heights, Second Street; 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at McCabe Court, Belmont Street; 3 to 4 p.m. at Fountain Drive.
Wednesday, Oct. 15: 11:30 a.m. to noon at Foulds Terrace; 2 to 3 p.m. at Morkeski Meadows, Waverly Road.
Monday, Oct. 20: 3 to 5 p.m. in the North Andover High School cafeteria, 430 Osgood St., North Andover. Cost is $15 per flu shot for this general clinic.

Food Addicts in Recover Meetings
NORTH ANDOVER — Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous holds meetings Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 57 Peters St.
The weekly meetings are for anyone suffering from food addiction, food obsession, overeating, obesity, bulimia and under-eating. Meetings are free. There are no weigh-ins. For more information, visit www.foodaddicts.org.
American Red Cross comes to Methuen
METHUEN — A blood drive will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the John Hancock Masonic Lodge, 275 Broadway. Another blood drive will be held Sunday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Methuen Health and Rehabilitation Center, 480 Jackson St.
