The look of Union Street would change dramatically, as seen in this artist's rendering, under a proposal by Lawrence CommunityWorks and other partners working on Union Crossing, a mix of retail, commercial and residential uses in the old Southwick Clothing factory and the Duck Mill. At the left is the entrance to what will become a retail and commercial building, along with a suspended walking path that would bring pedestrians into the rest of the complex from Union Street.
