Two televisions, video game system taken in break

LAWRENCE — Thieves stole two 42-inch flat-screen televisions and a Sony Playstation 3 video game system during a break into a first-floor apartment on Arlington Street, police said.

The victim told Officer William Olivieri her husband was the last one to leave the apartment about 8 a.m. to bring their daughter to school.

She told Olivieri she returned home at 3 p.m. and realized the house had been burglarized.

She told police a 42-inch RCA LCD television and the Sony Playstation 3 system were taken from the living room, and a 42-inch flat-screen LCD JVC television was taken from her bedroom.

A second-floor neighbor told Olivieri he did not see or hear anything unusual during the day, police said.

The break was reported at 3:54 p.m. Monday, police said.
