NORTH ANDOVER - A Honda Accord being driven across the lawn of Sargent School with its lights off early Monday seemed suspicious enough to Officer Scott Whittaker, so he decided to pull it over.
The driver wasn't willing to stop, though, and led Whittaker on a chase that ended in a crash a half-mile from the 300 Abbott Street school, police said. The accident happened around 12:30 a.m.
